In a question asked for Angie by Eileen Greece on News Observer, about her main-floor light flickering when an appliance is turned on. Angie advised Eileen to have a certified electrician to check the electrical system of her house to know the reason and also to solve the electrical issue that she is having.
The following are some of the tips she gave to know what’s causing the flickering of light.
1. Circuits might be overloaded. Bigger appliances should be on a single circuit while smaller can be in one group.
2. Loose connection, possible in a switch or outlet.
3. There might be some connections that are too close, this can cause a spark and can lead to an electrical fire.
Angie’s advice is to have a certified electrician to further diagnose the issue.
