Nebraska power line structures damaged by storm

The powerful storms in the northeast Nebraska had as a result the damage of power line structures in the area but, fortunately, the majority of citizens did not experience electricity loses.

The damages were limited to two transmission lines of Nebraska Public Power District (state’s largest electric power supplier) and several wooden power structures; no outages were reported by customers of the company.

However, in the case of Wayne, which is also served by NPPD, the outcome is a little unclear. The city was hit by a tornado who damaged several buildings and homes. There is still no information on power outages or disruptions in phone service or electricity.
