Pacific Gas & Electric truck caused power outage in Ceres


Two poles toppled as truck owned by Pacific Gas & Electric contractor ran into the power lines causing power outage in Ceres.

No injuries reported but it has caused some of the customers to lose power temporarily and some of them to have even longer power outage.

It has been reported by Patty Guerra in The Modesto Bee that the truck was working on the gas line when the overhead hit the power lines.

Ceres Police Department has closed the road allowing Pacific Gas & Electric and TID to work on the damaged poles to restore the power in the area.
